Isla Vista ​(JEsus Burgers)

Evangelistic gathering collaboration with isla vista. The church of isla vista has created a ministry committed to college students of ucsb. Even to purchase a house on greek row! What happens is that every friday night aka college party time, jesus burgers will put on a evangelistic gathering to cook burgers for the community and preaching the gospel. This was an experience like no other, in the midst of the craziness of parties on greek row there is absolutely no room to drive, because the streets are filled with students who are drunk or on drugs.
It is also an opportunity to reach the lost in the most broken stages, and be able to see mass salvation and breakthrough through the lives of ucsb students.

Suicide attempt stopped!
​
a guy who said his plan was to kill himself that night gets interrupted and save by god. Here is how it happened: as we were evangelizing on campus, this guy saw us preaching and handing out flyers for our ctl event that night. We had the sudden urge to ask one of the people who received a Flyer for info to the event. Shows up the event, engages in worship. As we continue to pray for people, this guy had his hand for a while and i noticed no one was praying for him. So i finished up with the person i was with and began to pray for this dude. He then responds to the gospel (gets saved) after a phenomenal message by my tour leader jacob anderson. We began to ask the students if there was anyone who needed prayer for healing of specific injuries, mental illnesses, sicknesses, but i had a word from the lord that someone at this event tonight, was going to want to commit suicide. That being the case for this guy, as i continue to pray for him i ask him simply, “ bro, was tonight the night that you were going to commit suicide?” He responds yes.. and begins to uncontrollably cry. I give him the biggest hug and start to encourage him of the person he now has inside and we began to authority over the spirits of fear, stress, depression, and death over his life. He was getting set completely free. Afterwards as we began to jump into worship the joy of the lord met him. He was a totally different person off on one true encounter with god.
will forever cherish and praise god for that breakthrough in that young mans life!

Bel’s Dream Come TRue
Our sweet sweet bel being from brazil had not spend anytime in southern california other than completing her dts in huntington beach. It had been her dream to walk on and see the santa monica pier. Having some extra time after a day at a unreached campus in santa monica we decided to make a dream a reality! Here are some photos of the team enjoying our sweet bel’s dream come true!

our first stop on tour starts off at apu, and let me tell you it was such an amazing way to start our carry the love campaign. Above our teams amazing worship or our lady auzzie giving an amazing and activating message, there was one moment that stood out above them all.. it was our day 2 where the students just got fired up about casting new vision for what is to come for apu.
